Over the past 25 years, Steve has held senior positions in product, operations, strategy and sales management specific to the wireless industry for two leading communication technology providers, including Motorola from 1990 to 2003, and AT&T Network Systems from 1984 to 1990. In 1991, Steve established Motorola’s South Asia Cellular Infrastructure Division which he successful managed and expanded from $5M to $550M in annual sales by 1997. While achieving 100% per annum top line growth rates, Steve’s division also had the highest gross margin and customer satisfaction ratings across Motorola. In 2003, Steve founded the consulting firm, Horizon Matrix LLC that provides clients business development and strategy services. Since 2003, Steve has served as advisory board member for multiple technology start-ups. Steve earned a B.S. and M.B.A. from Western Illinois University and a Master in Computer Science from DePaul University.
Mr. Vertes oversees platform development and serves as the primary liaison for technical relationships. Previously, Mr. Vertes was the UK-based Managing Director of Gaming & Entertainment Ltd, the UK company subsidiary of Gaming & Entertainment Group, Inc. In that role, Mr. Vertes was responsible for overseeing the integration of the company's proprietary Internet gaming system into the Cantor Gaming (a subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald) product offering and also the development and deployment of the company's terrestrial gaming machine products in England and Wales. Mr. Vertes is admitted to practice as a lawyer in England and Australia. Mr. Vertes holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Science degrees from Monash University, Australia.
Mr. Beattie is a highly experienced web developer and Ruby on Rails software specialist. Mr. Beattie worked for a number of years in Japan where served as a contracted writer, and built and operated his own Web 2.0 online scheduling and management system.
Most recently, Adam served as Director of Sales and Marketing for One Voice Technologies, Inc., the world's first developer of 4th Generation voice solutions for the telecom and interactive multimedia markets. During his tenure at One Voice, Adam developed and deployed several software product lines distributed through OEM licensing, online, and brick and mortar retail outlets. In addition, Adam managed One Voice's market communications and industry trade relationships with partners such as Intel, Microsoft, and numerous national retail outlets. Adam earned his B.B.A. from the University of West Georgia.
Since 2005, Matt has served as the Managing Partner of Dry Creek Capital Partners (DCCP) where he has advised a variety of technology start-ups. Prior to founding DCCP, Matt served as portfolio manager and Director of Trading for two California-based long/short equity hedge funds, each managing in excess of $500 million. Previously, Matt served as Managing Director at a boutique investment banking firm in San Diego where he established the institutional sales desk, equity syndicate desk, and as risk control manager of its proprietary trading efforts. Matt commenced his career at EVEREN Securities working with hedge fund institutions focusing on equities. Matt received a B.A. from the University of Texas.
